Depending on your needs, we also provide telehealth options for counseling, medication-assisted treatment, and case management—allowing you to receive care from the comfort of your home. These services are offered through your treatment provider, and eligibility for telehealth may vary based on where you are on your recovery journey.
At Middlesex Recovery, we provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs that prescribe FDA-approved buprenorphine medications. Buprenorphine, and buprenorphine compounds like Suboxone, target the brain’s opioid receptors to aid in withdrawal symptom relief. OBOT uses medication such as Suboxone, Sublocade and Vivitrol that are prescribed for at-home use and for regular check-ins meanwhile methadone clinics require daily dosing at the premises.
