Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

Middlesex Recovery offers access to information via recurring Short Message Service (“SMS”) text alerts to “opted-in” subscribers.  As an “opted-in” subscriber, you are signing up to receive text messages related to your relationship with Middlesex Recovery that may include, but are not limited to, inquiries for service, appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, updates related to your visits, and one-time passcodes.  These messages may contain your protected health information and such details as medication details, appointment details, such as date, time, location, provider name, etc.

Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any treatment provided by Middlesex Recovery.  For more information on Middlesex Recovery’s digital privacy practices, please review Middlesex Recovery Privacy Policy.

Message Frequency

Following opting in to receive notifications, the frequency of SMS messages you receive will vary based on the text messages services, the number of text message services in which you enrolled, and frequency of services received from Middlesex Recovery.

User Opt-Out

You can opt-out of SMS messages by texting “STOP” to the respective short code.  Your opt-out request will generate one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.  You will no longer receive SMS messages from the short code you opted out from.

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance.
